Obligations of authorised user
The authorised user is obliged to ensure that all those who operate the machine
• are familiar with safety regulations and accident prevention and have been instructed on how
to operate the machine
• have signed that they have read and understood the safety precautions and instructions for use
• have been instructed in the current regulations for the prevention of accidents.
2.5
Obligations of personnel
Before commencing work, all those who operate the machine undertake
• to adhere to the basic regulations regarding safety at work
• to sign that they have read and understood the safety instructions and instructions for use.
2.6
General information for safe use of the machine
• Do not alter the machine in any way
• The machine should not be used if it is in any way faulty
• Keep the working area clean. Untidiness at the workplace increases the risk of accidents
• For reasons of personal safety, use only accessories and materials recommended in the instructions. Using
materials other than those recommended in the instructions constitutes an accident risk for the operator and
cannot therefore be regarded as approved use
• Always disconnect the machine from the mains before undertaking any maintenance work
2.7
High risks
• Do not touch the cutter or drill when it is rotating
• Instruments should only be changed when the machine is switched off
• The milling handpiece should only be used for milling work on the machine
• Only light pressure should be used when milling
Caution:
Always wear protective glasses when milling or drilling.
