Communication with other stations
To communicate with other stations within Your private user group, all radios
must be set to the same channel and subcode numbers. (all partners must be
able to read the same number settings in their display). The larger digits like 01
show the channel, while the smaller digits like the „38" within 01
CTCSS subcode (in this example Nr. 38).

As a desktop radio, tectalk Office has a high microphone sensitivity, which
allows speaking from higher distances. There is no need to speak too close
to the radio's microphone. The distance is ok, when your arm can reach
the PTT key.

Press and hold the transmit button (PTT) during speaking und and
speak with normal voice. During transmission the display illumination will
be red.

To receive the answer of other stations release the transmit button again.

During receive mode the field strength Icon
strength of the incoming signals.
Calling key (Call)
This key is used to call other stations by means of an acoustical signal. You
may select one of 5 different calling melodies via menu step (MODE key). The
key can also be deactivated. A call takes about 3 seconds transmission
time.The TX (Transmit) LED will be on during the call.
Channel Scan
To start automatic channel monitoring press SCAN. The radio starts checking
all channels subsequently for activity. You see the channel numbers changing.
The scanning stops if a busy signal on one of the 8 channels is detected. You
can listen to the conversation for some seconds. Use the Scan button anytime
for starting and stopping of Scanning
Monitor button
Pressing the MON button longer than 1-2 second lets you hear white noise
so you can adjust the volume level of the radio level when not receiving a
signal. The MON should be used to check activity on current channel before
transmitting, and in cases where the connection to another station becomes
for volume adjustment. Using one of these keys, You will see
