AIR CONDITIONING OPERATION

1.1- Controller Operation GL-W180/181

When you start the ignition key, the display show the version of the controller
software, then the interior temperature of the vehicle.
Before starting, it shows the letters AL.

1 – Upper floor numerical display;
2 – Lower floor numerical display;
3 – Upper fan control key VENT. UPPER (SUP).
4 – Lower fan control key VENT. LOWER.(INF);
5 – Automatic cooling control key AUTO;
6 – Key UPPER UP for upper;
7 – Key LOWER UP for lower;
8 – Key UPPER DOWN for upper;
9 – Key LOWER DOWN for lower;
10 – Outside/inside temperature key TEMP;
11 – Status "cooling mode";
12 – Status "upper automatic mode";
13 – Status "lower automatic mode";
14 – Status "upper low speed fan mode";
15 – Status "lower low speed fan mode";
16 – Status "upper high speed fan mode";
17 – Status "lower high speed fan mode";
18 – Status "outside/inside temperature checking".

1.2- Outside Temperature Visualizing

To see the outside temperature, press the key TEMP. (10).
Display upper line shows letters TE and lower line shows outside temperature.
To exit press key TEMP again.

1.3- SET-POINT Programming

Set-point: It is the desirable temperature to be set inside the vehicle (interior,
for passengers), adjusted by the driver.
Upper Floor: press one of the keys (6) or (8). Set-point temperature is going to
blink in the Display. In order to increase press 6 and to decrease press 8, get the
best temperature you and passengers want.
Afterwards, display will remain blinking for 5 seconds until it stops. When it
stops blinking, it will show the interior temperature and set-point temperature
will be reprogrammed.
Lower Floor: in order to adjust the lower floor set-point, please follow the same
steps described for the upper floor set-point, but now, you have to touch keys
(7) and (9).

1.4- AUTO Mode (Automatic)

• Cool Mode/Fan Mode
• Heat Mode/Air renewing (dry) Mode
1- To select the automatic mode, press the key AUTO (5). To exit press key AUTO
(5) again.
At AUTO mode the system will control several functions automatically (fan, cool,
heat and dry/air renewing), searching for better climatizing to the temperature
set-point.
Note: cool mode at lower floor only works if the upper floor cool mode is ON too.
