537Wb Westport Storage Bench
Phillips Screwdriver, Wood Glue, Mallet or Padded Hammer, Tape Measure
We recommend that you finish this bench before you begin assembly.

1. Turn the Bottom Shelf on to its side. Spread a thin layer of glue in the dowel holes in the Bottom
Shelf (Eb) and insert the ends of the Vertical Dividers (Db) that have two dowels as shown in
Figure 1. Gently tap with a rubber mallet and quickly wipe away any excess glue with a damp rag.

2. Securely fasten the Bottom Shelf (Eb) to the Vertical Dividers (Db) with six #8 x 2" Black Screws (Q).
