General (fig. 1)
The DCT 10 dust collector is intended for use with
one hand-held rock drill.
The drive ejector (1) is located above the filters (7, 8)
in a well-protected position under the filter-unit cover
(2).
The dust collector has low weight, and is therefore
easy to handle. It is set up by locating the spike (6) in
a drill hole, which keeps the unit upright and stable re-
gardless of the slope of the rock.
Between the suction cap (12) and suction hose (14)
there is a twist-joint (13) by means of which the suc-
tion cap can be turned so that it always seals against
the rock.

The rock cuttings and dust particles that are sucked
into the dust collector are directed into a sack. The
sack is secured around the cyclone part (9) of the fil-
ter unit by means of the sack holder (10).
The DCT 10 dust collector has high suction capacity
in relation to its air consumption.

Drive ejector
The drive ejector (1) is located inside the filter unit (4),
and is thus well-protected from mechanical damage.
By locating the ejector above the filters (7 and 8), an
underpressure is maintained in the suction system.
This eliminates the risk of dust leakage. Since only fil-
tered air flows through the ejector, wear to the unit is
minimal.
