The Super Fog Nano II is a humidifier specially designed for use with smal-
ler terrariums. The device is based on the proven technology of the Super
Fog and has a ceramic membrane that evaporates water through ultrasonic
vibration.
The humidifier is small and compact and uses low-voltage technology, so
that maximum safety is ensured.
In combination with a timer or a hygrostat, such as the Lucky Reptile Humi-
dity Control II, you can automatically maintain the humidity in your terrari-
um, which is practical for a short holiday.
Operation conditions:
• The device is intended for use in dry and clean rooms.
• Do not place the device in the terrarium. It is a technical device designed for an installa-
tion outside the terrarium and not suitable for use in humid environments.
• Ensure secure footing so that it can't fall over.
• Protect the device from moisture, splash water and heat.
• The device itself may only be operated at 5V/0.5 A DC voltage.
• The ambient temperature limit during operation may not fall below and exceed 0°C
and 40°C respectively.
Installation and Use:
• Remove the entire head of the unit from the water tank. The head is only held by two
small magnets. Fill the water tank with water (<40°C) up to 1 cm below the top edge
(approx. 300 ml).
• Place the units head with the cartridge holder pointing down back onto the water tank.
• Push the supplied hose over the pipe fitting of the humidifier' s outlet cap and insert the
end of the hose into the terrarium. The hose can be stretched to a length of up to 1 m
and bent as required.
• The maximum difference in height should not be more than 80 cm.
• Note that the longer the hose is and the more bends the hose makes, the more likely it
is that the mist will condense into water in the hose and the mist output will be reduced.
• Make sure that the hose does not make a downward U-bend. If condensation forms in
the hose, it will collect at this point and prevent the flow of the fog. If the bend of the
hose is at the highest point, the condensation water in the hose can always drain off
into the terrarium or back into the water container.
• Connect the device to the cinch plug of the transformer. Then plug the transformer into
the mains socket. The cable between the device and the mains socket should sag slight-
ly so that no water can accidentally run along the cable and get into the transformer.
• Press the button on the front of the unit once to start the fogger. Press the button again
to switch the unit off. During operation, this is indicated by a green light on the button.
Red means that the device has power but is not switched on.
• The use of a timer or better a hygrostat, like the Lucky Reptile Humidity Control II is
recommended to control the humidity. Turn the Super Fog Nano II on and let the timer/
hygrostat control it. During continuous operation, the water in the unit is empty after
about 8-10 hours. Operation without water should be avoided. Add water in time.
• It is recommended to use Lucky Reptile Terra Tec H2O water to ensure a long life, becau-
se the minerals in tap water will damage the membrane.
Consumption information:
Both the cartridge and the diaphragm are consumables.
For hygienic reasons, the cartridge should be changed every 2-3 months, even if it works
properly.
The membrane can lose its function over time because it is clogged with minerals dis-
solved in water, such as lime. How fast this happens depends very much on the type of
water you are using. We recommend the use of Lucky Reptile Terra Tec H2O. If the fogging
performance decreases and it has been checked that the membrane is responsible, it can
be replaced.

Function / Change of Cartridge
The cartridge sucks in the water by capillary action and guides it to the membrane, where
it is then evaporated. To do so, the cartridge must be in direct contact with the membrane.
This is ensured by the small spring in the base of the cartridge holder, which generates
a slight pressure. Over time, especially if the cartridge holder has been removed more
often, the top of the cartridge may fray out and make direct contact with the membrane
more difficult. In this case, the cartridge must be replaced.
• The cartridge is replaced by replacing the cartridge holder including the cartridge.
• Remove the hose together with the outlet cap from the head of the Super Fog Nano II.
• Then remove the entire head of the Super Fog Nano II by pulling it straight up from the
water container.
• Turn the cartridge holder by about 45° and remove it from the bottom of the head.
• For assembly, make sure that the spring is correctly seated at the bottom of the
cartridge holder. The upper side of the cartridge should be touched as little as possible
so that it does not fray out.
• Mount the cartridge holder and make sure that the cartridge fits well into the hole and
has proper contact to the membrane. The cartridge holder is fixed by turning it 45°.
• Put the complete head back on the water tank and mount the hose together with the
outlet cap.
• Make sure that the head lies flat and a good electrical contact is ensured between the
magnet and the contacts of the membrane.
Changing the membrane
• To replace the membrane, simply replace the whole head of the Super Fog Nano II,
which you can be purchased as spare part.
• Remove the tube together with the outlet cap and remove the cartridge holder from the
head as described under „Changing the cartridge".
• Replace the old head with a new one and reassemble the parts in reverse order.
