Press "Refresh" for the state icon to switch from grey to green.
If for any reason the state icon of one or more camera stays grey, i.e. the NVR fails to connect to the camera, it probably
means that a password other than the default password (admin) which is used by the NVR to attempt to access the
camera is set on the camera: in this case, simply click on the "green pencil" icon (highlighted in the figure below).
and change the camera password currently used by the NVR as shown below. Then press "OK" to confirm:
