Step 4. Adjust the valve to control
the amount of bubbles coming out
of the aerator. For more bubble,
turn counterclockwise. For fewer
bubbles, turn clockwise.
PUMP PERFORMANCE
MAINTENANCE
The Pond Aerator may require cleaning from time to time for optimal
performance. Clean the aerator when the exterior is soiled or you notice
a decline in performance.
Before cleaning, always disconnect from the power source.
Step 1. To clean the aerator, open
the aerator by pulling up on the tabs
on the cover.
Step 2. Carefully remove the aerator
from the pump. Disassemble it then
rinse the parts in warm water to
remove any debris.
Step 3. Carefully remove the filter
pad. Rinse it with warm water to
clean any debris off the surface.
Remove the pump.
Step 4. Remove the front cover and
impeller cover to expose the impeller
assembly. Remove the impeller
assembly by gently pulling on the
impeller blades. The impeller is held
in place by a magnet.
Step 5. Use a soft cloth or brush
and warm water to clean the
impeller and the inside of the
impeller housing.
Step 6. Reassemble all parts,
place unit back into water and
reconnecting to the power source
when you are finished.
