the pneumatic vibro hammer.

The safety devices installed by the manufacturer must not be altered under any
circumstances.

The operation, the testing, as well as the maintenance of this tool must be carried out in
accordance with the safety standards of the American National Standards Institute for
portable pneumatic tools (ANSI B186.1) and all valid safety standards and safety
regulations.
■
Operate this tool at 90 psig = 6.2 bar to ensure safety and optimum performance for
maximum service life of the parts.
■
As user or bystander always wear impact-resistant eye and face protection when you
operate or maintain this tool.
■
As user or bystander always wear hearing protection during operation or maintenance.
High sound levels can lead to permanent hearing loss.
■
Keep the tool in an efficient operating state.
■
Operating and maintenance personnel must be physically able to handle the size,
the weight and the force of this tool.
■
Compressed air can cause serious injuries. Never point a jet of air at yourself or other
people. Always switch off or disconnect the air supply from the vibro-hammer when you
change the accessory.

Always check the supply air hose, as well as the coupling and the nipple on the tool for
damage.
■
Do not use any quick detach couplings directly on the tool.
■
Over a longer period of application due to vibrations and repetitive oscillations in an
uncomfortable position, the pneumatic vibro-hammer can have a damaging effect on
your hands and arms. If during application your hands begin to hurt and to tingle, or you
experience discomfort you should consult a doctor.

Keep out of the reach of children.

Assume a balanced, stable body position while working.
■
Do not lean out too far.
■
Do not carry the tool on the hose. Protect the hose against sharp objects and heat.

When starting and operating the machine, be prepared for sudden changes in its
movement.

Never lubricate the vibro-hammer with flammable or volatile liquids such as kerosene,
diesel or aviation fuel.
■
This tool is not insulated against electric shock.
■
This tool may not be used in environments at risk of explosion.
■
Do not operate the tool above the nominal power specified.
■
Never use the chisel as a hand tool. It was specially developed to use with pneumatic
hammers and heat treated. Choose the correct shaft and holder for the tool.
■
Never use blunt, damaged or chipped accessory parts.
