Installing the roof bars for roof rail

Note
The roof bars for roof rail must be installed by two people.
There are two markings -X- on the inward facing side of the roof
rail at the front and rear end; these markings are provided for
positioning the roof bars for roof rail.
● Before the installation process can begin, the roof rail in the
area with the markings -X- and the rubber supports for the
support bracket -8- must be free of dust and grease.
– If necessary, clean the contact areas, rubber supports and
protective rubber covers thoroughly.
– Pull out the profile caps -1- on the profile tubes -5- until the
tensioning bolts -2- are visible.
