– Loosen the tensioning bolts -2- in anti-clockwise direction by
approx. 12 rotations using the installation wrench -14- provi-
ded.
Note
◆ If the tensioning bolts -2- are loosened too much, the T nuts
-12- will fall out.
◆ Screw the T nuts that have fallen out -12- onto the tension-
ing bolt -2- from below and secure in an anti-clockwise direc-
tion using the installation wrench -14-.
– Detach the T nuts -12- from the retaining clips -10- -arrow
A-.
– Rotate the retaining clips -10- by 180° -arrow B-.
– Carefully position the two supporting rods between the two
markings on the inward facing side of the roof rail -X-. Ob-
serve the labels -6- on the underside of the profile tubes
when positioning the supporting rods.
Note
The labels must be on the left-hand side of the vehicle and the
printed arrow must point in the direction of travel.
– Centre the roof bars for roof rail.
