– Slightly raise the retaining clips -10- and rotate back by 180°
-arrow A-.
– Engage the T nuts -12- in the retaining clips -arrow B-.
Note
Ensure the T nuts are in the correct position -arrows C-.
– First, gently tighten all tensioning bolts -2- using the installa-
tion wrench -14-.
– Tighten all tensioning bolts -2- securely.
– Check that the supporting rods are securely fixed to the roof
rail.
– Fit the profile caps -1-.
WARNING
All bolt connections and connections for the roof bars for
roof rail and for the add-on components must be checked
as often as possible and tightened where necessary

If this guideline is not observed, this can result in the roof
bars for roof rail or the add-on components becoming
loose or falling off — risk of accident!
4.2

Installing add-on components

– Secure the add-on components in accordance with the rele-
vant assembly instructions.
– To install the add-on components, remove the profile cap -1-
from the profile tube -5- -arrow A-.
– Insert the add-on components into the T groove -arrow B-
and secure in accordance with the relevant installation in-
structions for the add-on component.
– Slide the profile cap -1- back on -arrow C-.
