Precautions for Safe Use
Be sure to follow the safety precautions below for added safety.
( 1 ) Do not use the sensor under the environment with explosive or
ignition gas.
( 2 ) Never disassemble, repair nor tamper with the product.
( 3 ) Keep the supply voltage within the specified range. （12to24V DC±10%）
( 4 ) Do not use the sensor over the rated values.
(1)下記の設置場所では使用しないで く だ さ い。
直射日光があたる場所
湿度が高く 、 結露する恐れがあ る場所
腐食性ガスのあ る場所
本体に直接、 振動や衝撃が伝わる場所
( 2 ) 接続、 取り付けについて
最大電源電圧はDC26.4Vです。 通電前に電源電圧が最大電源電圧以下
であ る こ と を確認して く だ さ い。
電 力 線 、 動 力 線と光 電スイ ッチの 配 線 が 同 一 配 管または 同 一ダク トで
行 わ れると誘 導を受 け 、 誤 動 作あるいは 破 損 の 原 因となる場 合もあり
ますので、 別配線またはシール ド コー ドの使用を原則と して く だ さ い。
コー ドの延長は0.3mm 2 以上の線を用い、 100m以下と して く だ さ い。
韓国Ｓ-ｍ ａ ｒ ｋ 認定機種を認定品と して使用される場合は10ｍ未満と して く だ さ い。
コー ド部に加わる力は下記の値以下と して く だ さ い。
引っ張り80Ｎ以下、 ト ルク0.1N ・ m以下、 押圧20Ｎ以下、 屈曲3kg以下
光電ス イ ッ チを取り付ける際、ハンマーなどでたたきますと、耐水機能が損
なわれますのでご注意く だ さ い。また、ネジはＭ３のものをご使用く だ さ い。
◎Ｍ ８ メ タルコ ネ ク タ について
コ ネ ク タの抜差は必ず電源を切ってか ら行なって く だ さ い。
コ ネ ク タの抜差は必ずコ ネ ク タ カバー部を持って行なって く だ さ い。
固定具は必ず手で締めて く だ さ い。プライヤなどを使用されますと破損の
原因にな り ます。
適正締め付け ト ルクは0.3〜0.4N･mです。 締め付けが不十分ですと保護構造
が保てな く なった り、 振動でゆるむこ とがあ り ます。

Precautions for Correct Use
(1) Do not use the product under the following conditions.
In the place exposed to the direct sunlight.
In the place where humidity is high and condensation may occur.
In the place where corrosive gas exists.
In the place where vibration or shock is directly transmitted to the
product.
(2) Connection and Mounting
Be sure that before making supply the supply voltage is less than
the maximum rated supply voltage. (26.4V DC)
There are some cases where the photoelectric switch cable is
unavoidably laid in a tube or duct together with a hightension or
power line.
This causes an induction, possibly resulting in malfunction or damage.
In principal, the cable should be separately laid or shielded.

For extending wires,use a cable 0.3mm min.,and 100m max.in
length.When using the cable as a Korea's S-mark certified
product,use the cable of less than 10m in length.
Do not exceed the following force values applied to the cable.
Tensile:80N max.,torque:0.1N ・ m max.,pressure:20N max.,
flexure:3kg max.
Excessive force (hitting by hammer, etc.) should not be put on the
photoelectric switch because it may damage its water-resistance
characteristic. Use M3 screws to mount the photoelectric switch.
◎M８metal connector
Plug in or out the connector after surly turning off a power supply.
Plug in or out the connector with a cover part of it.
Fasten a fixed implement by hand. If you use a plaier, it may be
cause of malfunction or damage to it.
Proper bolting torque is 0.3 to 0.4N・m to keep water-resistance.

使用上の注意
( 3 ) 清掃について
シ ンナー類は、 製品表面を溶か し ますので避けて く だ さ い。
( 4 ) 電源について
市販のス イ ッチングレギュ レ ー タ を ご使用の際はＦ Ｇ （フ レ ーム ・ グラ ン ド端子） を接地
してお使いく だ さ い。
( 5 ) 電源 リ セ ッ ト 時間について
電源を入れてから光電ス イ ッチが検出可能になる時間は100msですので、 電源
投入後100ms以降にてご使用く だ さ い。 負荷と光電ス イ ッ チが別電源に接続され
ている場合は必ず光電ス イ ッ チの電源を先に投入して下さ い。
( 6 ) 電源のOFFについて
電源OFF時に出力パルスが発生する場合があ り ますので負荷あ るい
は負荷ラ イ ンの電源を先にOFFされる こ と をお勧め し ます。
( 7 ) 負荷短絡保護について
この機種は、 負荷短絡保護機能を備えていますが、 負荷は絶対に短絡しないで く
だ さ い。 負荷には定格を超え る電流を絶対に流さ ないで く だ さ い。 負荷短絡が生じ
た場合は出力がOFFと な り ますので配線を見直した う えで電源を再投入して く だ
さい。 短絡保護回路が リ セ ッ ト されます。 また負荷短絡保護は定格負荷電流の
1.8倍以上の電流が流れますと動作し ます。 Ｌ負荷を使用される場合は突入電流
が定格負荷電流の1.8倍以下のものを ご使用く だ さ い。
( 8 ) 耐水性について
Ｉ Ｐ67ですが、 水中、 降雨中、 および屋外での使用は避けて く だ さ い。
( 9 ) 産業廃棄物と して処理して下さ い。

(3)Cleaning
Do not use thinner such as alcohol and benzine because it may melt
a surface of a product.
(4)Power supply
When using a commercially available switching regulator, be sure to
ground the FG (Frame Ground) terminals.
(5)Power supply reset time
The photoelectric switch will begin sensing no later than 100ms
after the power is turned on. If the load and the photoelectric switch
is connected to different power supply, the photoelectric switch must
be always turned on first.
(6)Turning off the power supply
When turning off the power, output pulse may be generated. We
recommend turning off the power supply of the load or load line
first.
(7)Load short circuit protection
This product is provided with function of load short circuit
protection. However, be never short-circuited of the load. Please do
not throw the current that exceeds ratings into the load. Control
output is turned off when this function operates. After checking of
wiring and load current, make power supply again. Then the circuit
is reset. Load short circuit protection operates when the current is
1.8 times over than the rated load current. The inrush current should
be 1.8 times less than the rated load current when L load is used.
(8)Water resistance
Though this is type IP67, do not use in the water, rain or outdoors.
(9)Please process it as industrial waste.
