Grandstream GXW4200 series FXS Analog IP Gate-
way offer an easy to manage, easy to configure IP
communications solution for any business with virtual
and/or branch locations. The GXW4200 series sup-
port popular voice codecs and is designed for full
SIP compatibility and interoperability with third party
SIP providers, thus enabling you to fully leverage the
benefits of VoIP technology, integrate a traditional
phone system into a VoIP network, and efficiently
manage communication costs. The GXW4200 se-
ries have a compact design, and offer superb au-
dio quality, rich feature functionality, strong security
protection, and good manageability. It is auto-con-
figurable, remotely manageable and scalable.

Here is the example for GXW4232. GXW4216 and
GXW4224 are connected in the same way.

ONNECTING THE GATEWAY
1.Connect a standard touch-tone anlaog telephone
(or fax machine) to the analog port through a RJ21 to
RJ11 cable.
2.Insert the Ethernet cable into the LAN port of
GXW4200 and connect the other end of the Ethernet
cable to an uplink port (a router, a modem, etc.).
3.Using the embedded web server or IVR (Interactive
Voice Prompt) menu, you can further configure the
gateway using either a static IP or DHCP.

CONFIGURATION
Configure using Interactive Voice Prompt
From the analog phone, press *** to get into the IVR
menu. Follow the voice instruction, and configure the
setting.
Configure using embedded web server
1. From the analog phone, press *** to get into the IVR
menu. Enter option 02 to obtain the Gateway's IP ad-
dress.
2.Type the device's IP address in your PC browser.
3.Log in using password "admin" to configure the
Gateway.
