OPERATION
The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for professional use.
The following description is associated with the image on page 2:
1. Housing
2. Baking plates
3. "Heating" pilot light
4. "At temperature" pilot light
1.
Unpack the device and remove all packaging parts.
2.
Clean the baking tray before using for the first time (see 'Cleaning and maintenance').
3.
Plug in the power cord and let the appliance heat for 10 minutes. This will remove any packaging odor
from the device.
PLEASE NOTE:
The first time you use the appliance, it may produce slight smoke and a specific odour. This is normal
and will disappear on its own. Ensure sufficient ventilation.
Keep birds away from the appliance when the appliance is in operation. When heating the non-stick
coating on the baking tray, a substance can be released that is a nuisance to birds.
Changing the baking plates
1.
Allow the appliance to cool down completely.
2.
Open the appliance.
3.
Slide the black knobs to remove the baking plates
4.
Take a different baking plate.
5.
Place the lips of the baking plate into the openings inside the appliance. Carefully push the baking
plate until it clicks into place.
6.
Repeat steps 3 to 5 for the second baking plate.
Preheating
1.
Place the appliance on a flat, level surface.
2.
This appliance must be connected to an earthed socket.
3.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet. The indicator lights come on and the appliance heats up.
4.
Wait for the green indicator light to turn off. The baking trays are then at the right temperature and the
applaince is ready for use.
Baking cakepops
1.
Prepare the cakepop batter using the recipe given on the packaging.
2.
Preheat the appliance as explained in 'Preheating'.
3.
Grease both baking plates. Use a brush to spread the oil or butter over the surface.
4.
Divide the mixture over the forms in the lower baking plate, preferably with a piping bag.
5.
Bake the cakepops until they have the desired colour.
6.
Open the appliance once the cakepops are ready.
7.
Carefully remove the cake-pops with a fork; take care not to damage the non-stick coating.
8.
Once you have finished baking cakepops, remove the plug from the plug socket and open the
appliance to allow the baking plates to cool down.
Suggestion: Before you put them into the cakepops, dip the ends of the sicks into the glaze or molten
chocolate you plan on using for the decoration. This ensures that the cakepops remain on
their sticks.
Baking donuts
1.
Prepare the donut batter using the recipe given on the packaging.
2.
Preheat the appliance as explained in 'Preheating'.
3.
Grease both baking plates. Use a brush to spread the oil or butter over the surface..
4.
Use a little round spoon to pour a small amount of batter in each hole of the lower plate. Be sure the
batter does not exceed the brim.
5.
Lower the upper plate.
6.
Close the cakemaker with the latch.
7.
Bake the donuts until they have the desired colour.
8.
Open the appliance once the donuts are ready.
9.
Carefully remove the donuts with a fork; take care not to damage the non-stick coating.
10. Once you have finished baking donuts, remove the plug from the plug socket and open the appliance
to allow the baking plates to cool down.
