Setting Up

4.1 Unpacking
⇒ Remove the device and all the accessories from the delivery package�
⇒ Check the delivery for completeness (refer to Sec� 3�2)�
4.2 Setup
⇒ Place the device on an acid-resistant and non-slip work surface; if necessary use a suitable support, in
a comfortable working height�
⇒ Place the tweezers supplied with the unit and the retaining magnets in the holder on the back of the
appliance (Fig� 1)�
Danger of injury through falling equipment!
Remove the retaining magnets from the holder when transporting the appliance.
4.3 Electrical Connection
Ensure the mains supply and voltage marked on the nameplate is identical.
⇒ Choose a power cable (15, Fig� 1) with the proper plug for your mains supply�
⇒ Connect the power cable (13, Fig� 1) to the power supply�
⇒ Insert the power plug into the building installed wall socket�
⇒ Turn on the appliance at the mains switch (12, Fig� 1)�
4.4 Hygienic Preparation
Please note:
Before using the SYMPRO system for the first time, prepare the components hygienically accord-
ing to the following instructions.
⇒ Fill the cleaning beaker (2, Fig� 1) with 75 g cleaning pins (corresponds to one packaging unit)�
⇒ Fill the SYMPRO mini cup (accessory) (16, Fig� 1) with ~ 5 g cleaning pins
Observe personal protection as understood under national practice, labor and hygiene regula-
tions prior to handling disinfectant, the cleaning object and/or any of the system components of
the cleaning unit.
