FRONTAL CUTTER BAR
APPLICATION
Connection to motor cultivator
Couple the cutter bar by using the Quickfit.
Clearance adjustment between the central pin
and pads
For better operation, the clearance between the
central pin and the pads should be of 1.3 tenths. To
obtain such a clearance, proceed as follows:
A) Loosen screw (6)
B) Tighten grub screw (7) until reaching a moderate
tightening of the pads against the central pin by
using the supplied Allen wrench
C) From the position reached, turn the Allen wrench
in the opposite sense (unscrew the grub screw) for
about 1/8 of a turn (45°)
D) To lock the grub screw (7), tighten screw (6)
N.B. - Repeat operations of points A-B-C-D
each time a clearance reset is wanted for better
functioning. It is recommended to carry out such
operations every 20+30 hours operation.
ATTENTION - To avoid harmful
strain, never lock the central
pin with the adjustment pads;
always leave a clearance of at
least 0,1mm.
Cutter bar height adjustment
When working on bad terrain, it is necessary to
adjust the mower's cut height in the following way:
- Loosen nut 1.
- Bring the skid pad back to wanted position.
- Re-lock the nut.
- Carry out adjustment on both skid pads.
Blade holder adjustment
- Loosen fixing screws 3.
- Act on adjustment screws 4.
- Re-tighten fixing screws.
N.B.: Excessive friction between the blade presser
and the blade must be avoided in order to ensure
efficiency.
Mower blade replacement
1) Special Mower
- Loosen screws 5.
- Remove blade catch 6.
- Slip off the blade.
To reassemble the blade carry out the same ope-
rations but in the opposite way.
2) Normal Mower
- Loosen screws 5.
- Remove blade catch 6.
- Turn the blade through 90°.
- Slip off the blade.
To reassemble the blade carry out the same ope-
rations but in the opposite way.
MAINTENANCE: each time the mower is used
apply grease to points 7 and 8.
AIRBORNE NOISE
Acoustic pressure recorded at 1,6 m off the ground
in the centre of the handlebars by a B & K 2230
instrument facing the engine.
Maximum level of acoustic pressure statistically
weighted equivalent.
- Motorcultivator: 88,3 dB (A)
- Mower: 90,7 dB (A)
Sound Power:
- Motorcultivator: 104,6 dB (A)
- Mower: 104,6 dB (A)
HANDLEBAR VIBRATION
Statistically weighed measurement in accordance
with ISO 5349:
- Motorcultivator: 5,5 m/s
- Mower: 16,2 m/s
Data refers to maximum values recorded with the
range of engines available.
