Dear customer, thank you for purchasing one of our Uniteck products. Please read all the instructions
carefully and thoroughly before using the product.
UNISPLIT 160.12
UNISPLIT is an intelligent isolator/combiner for 12V lead-acid batteries. Featuring a unique, high-power
microprocessor-controlled relay, UNISPLIT:
-
connects the main battery in parallel with the auxiliary battery/ies as soon as the main battery is
supplied with a charge (alternator or battery charger) and is 13.4V, thus enabling the entire battery
pack to be charged.
-
disconnects the batteries as soon as the load is no longer detected, thus avoiding discharging the
batteries between them.
For vehicle applications, using Batt function. Save, UNISPLIT combines the batteries only after the start-up
phase. UNISPLIT thus avoids all important current circuit of the starter (> 500A for several seconds) which
are harmful for isolator/combiner and service batteries (technology not adapted for this purpose).
For optimum operation, it is advised to use batteries of similar capacities (+/- 20%).
