3. Using a 3/4 in. (19mm) wrench, remove the
temperature sender fitting A from the
thermostat housing.

4. Using a 12mm socket, loosen and remove the
remaining bolt B holding the thermostat
housing in place.

5. Remove thermostat housing C.

6. Using a rag to stop pieces of gasket from falling
into the intake manifold D, clear away the old
gasket E in preparation for a new one.
WARNING! Be extremely careful when
working with any sharp tools. Failure to
take care may result in injury.

Save this temperature sender fitting; you
will reuse it later.
