Warning
Before any work on the machine,
remove the battery.
Battery
A battery that is new or has not been used for a longer
period does not develop its full capacity until after
approx. 4 – 5 charging/discharging cycles.
Do not place down the battery on radiators or expose
it to intense sunlight for longer periods; temperatures
above 50 °C cause damage.
Keep the contacts/terminals of the charger and
replaceable battery clean. For optimal service life, fully
charge the battery after use.
For maximum service life of the battery, remove it from
the charger after charging.
When storing the battery for more than 30 days:
Store battery dry and at approx. 27 °C.
Store battery at approx. 30% – 50% of its charging
capacity.
Recharge battery every 6 months.

Overload protection

When the battery is subject to overload, the tool will
automatically shut off.
To restart, switch the tool on and then off again.
The battery can heat up considerably under extreme
load. In this case, the battery will switch off.
Charge the battery in the charger to recharge and to
reactivate it.
Venting the Grease Gun
Grasp the hose by the strain-relief spring and direct it
away from the body.
Press the On/Off switch for 3 seconds, release and
repeat until grease is dispensed out of the hose.
When no grease is dispensed after several attempts,
the grease gun must be manually vented.
Pull out the rod in the grease gun barrel by the handle,
and turn it to engage the rod in the piston.
Press the venting valve and at the same time, slide the
rod back into the grease gun barrel. As soon as grease
comes out of the hose, turn the handle to release the
piston, then push the rod completely into the barrel.
Note: This grease gun was factory-tested. Therefore,
small amounts of grease are still in the pump barrel,
hose and clutch. Before using for the first time, it is rec-
ommended to clean the grease gun with the preferred
grease.
