The charger has two operating modes:
1. Charge mode
2. Support mode
If the charger is to be used to charge a battery,
"Charge mode" must be activated.
When changing a battery, the charger can supply
the consuming vehicle's electrical system. For this,
it is imperative that the charger be operated in
"Support mode".

The touch display is used to display a wide variety
of parameters: voltage, charging current, charac-
teristic curve, end-of-charge voltage, battery type,
operating mode, charged capacity and charging
time. There are also buttons which, when touched,
perform operating functions. The buttons are shown

3.8 Operating modes
3.8.1 Autostart function with automatic
voltage detection
The BLG 12/24 V – 120 A charger is equipped
with an autostart function with automatic voltage
detection. The device carries out automatic voltage
detection after the button is pressed or when the
power is switched on. The white LED flashes during
the voltage test.

This process can take up to 1 minute, depending
on the battery voltage. This detection is only active
in the universal setting "Uni". The charger automa-
tically detects whether the battery is a 12 V or 24
V battery and starts charging in "Uni mode". All
types of batteries can be charged in this mode. If
no battery is connected, the device will remain on
standby.
