After the wax has been removed from all the major surfaces, use
the edge of the pad to reach into curved or concave surfaces.
Small areas around mirrors etc. should be done by hand as in
the application. The bonnet may be used or a similar soft terry
cloth rag.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Always disconnect the polisher from the power
supply before carrying out any maintenance.
Both bonnets can be cleaned by hand washing them in a mild
detergent and water solution. Do not machine wash as this may
cause them to shrink.
Store the unit upside down. This will both keep the pad clean
and will also prevent it from loosing its shape.
Remove the bonnets from the pad when it is not in use. This will
allow the foam pad to dry out and retain its original shape.
All plastic components of the unit must be cleaned with a soft
damp cloth.
Do not use any solvents to clean the machine as chemicals and
solvents could damage the plastic construction.
Regularly check all assembly screws and re-tighten where
necessary.
