Procedure for setting the springs:
Be careful when taking the stacking platform out and putting it back in, if it is
handled incorrectly there is the risk of trapping your fingers.
When setting springs on sharp edges, pay particular attention to the ends of
the tension springs. Risk of injury.
Remove inserted trays.
Lift the stacking platform uniformly with one finger in each finger hole and
place it on the stacker.
Then grip the platform with both hands and put it down in a suitable place.
Insert or release setting springs uniformly in all groups of springs.
For guiding the stacking platform uniformly and without friction, a symmet-
rical arrangement of springs between the 2 attachment bars is necessary.
An asymmetric arrangement of springs within an attachment bar does not
pose any problem.
Preferably release setting springs. Always leave the base springs inserted
if possible. Always release the springs on the lower fixing.
Then insert the stacking platform again using the finger holes. If the plat-
form is correctly inserted the guide rollers must point towards the inside of
the stacker or otherwise the trays may become soiled.
The steps «Checking the spring setting» (1) und «Altering the spring setting»
(2) must be repeated as often as necessary until the dispensing height is in the
region of 3 to 5 cm.
Provided that the same trays are always used the dispensing height will
only need to be set once.

Calculating the stacker capacity

All leading manufacturers give the necessary data for calculating the interme-
diate stack height in the following manner:
