ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn off water at the supply
valve at the main water supply,
disconnect the supply line, and
remove old faucet.
2. Using thread sealant tape
(wrapped clockwise) or pipe joint
compound, cover all exposed
male threaded areas.
Position shower kit so controls
will be at a comfortable height
and handle assembly has a firm
solid surface (2 x 4, concrete
block) to mount to.
3. Ensure chain is attached to the
valve with included O-ring.
Ensure water supply pipe (1/2"
galvanized is recommended but
not included) is properly support-
ed and thread valve onto supply
pipe. Make sure valve is pointing
down (chain pulls down).
WARNING/CAUTION
THIS IS NOT A MIXING VALVE; IT IS ONLY AN "ON/
OFF" VALVE FOR YOUR WATER LINE.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO RUN HOT AND COLD WATER
LINES INTO THIS VALVE, THEY MUST BE ADDED
BEFORE THE VALVE.
IF YOU ARE RUNNING A HOT WATER LINE INTO THIS
VALVE, THERE IS NO WAY TO CONTROL THE WATER
TEMPERATURE FROM THE VALVE. THE WATER
TEMPERATURE MUST BE ADJUSTED BEFORE THE
VALVE.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pull chain down to begin water flow.
2. ONCE THE VALVE IS TURNED "ON", ALLOW THE
WATER TO RUN AND REACH ITS WORKING

4. Attach water distribution pipe
and shower arm (not included)
to shower valve. Make sure
distribution pipe is properly
supported.
5. Turn on water supply, pull
down on chain and flush line
for 30 seconds to remove any
debris from line.
6. Release chain, water should
shut off. Check for leaks.
Install shower head (not
included) to end of shower
arm.
WARNING: SCALDING MAY OCCUR IF HOT WATER IS
ATTACHED TO THIS SHOWER LINE. SUDDEN WATER
TEMPERATURE CHANGES CAN OCCUR WITH ANY
CHANGE IN WATER PRESSURE CAUSED BY ANOTHER
DEVICE USING WATER, SUCH AS A FAUCET OR TOILET.
USE OF THIS DEVICE WITH A NON-PRESSURE
BALANCED HOT WATER LINE CAN CAUSE SUDDEN
AND DRAMATIC TEMPERATURE CHANGES.
TEMPERATURE IN ORDER TO AVOID SHOCK CAUSED
BY SUDDEN WATER TEMPERATURE CHANGE.
