and press the intake noise damper (1) and holder
(2) into the hole on the brake bleeding shaft.
Cut the combustion air hose (3) to length, connect
it to the connector on the auxiliary heater (5) and
secure it with a hose clip (4).

Secure the silencer holder (1) to the silencer (4)
using a hexagonal screw, size M6 x 20 mm (2) and
a hexagonal nut, size M6 (3).

Cut the exhaust pipe using the specified
dimensions:
Dimensions: A = 130 mm
B = 230 mm

Secure the silencer holder (1) to the auxiliary
heater (3) using a self-tapping screw (2). Secure
the 230 mm exhaust pipe (4) and the 130 mm
exhaust pipe (5) with pipe clips as shown.
Cars with an external temperature sensor only

Mark dimensions A and B on the left-hand brake
bleeding shaft.
Dimensions: A = 50 mm
B = 35 mm
Drill the hole (1) with a 9 mm drill bit.

Place the external temperature sensor (1) into the
hole you have just drilled.

Cut the mounting (1) for the external temperature
sensor from the left cover (2) along the dotted line.

Drill the hole with a 40 mm peel drill bit.

Insert the rubber grommet (2), thread the exhaust
pipe (3) through the hole and fit the left cover (1).
7 To connect the fuel line and fuel
metering pump

Connect the fuel line (1) with the section of hose (2)
and hose clips (3) to the connector on the auxiliary
heater (4).

Secure the fuel line (1) to the left side member
using the enclosed cable holders (2).

Secure the perforated strap (1) and fuel metering
pump (2) using the pipe clip (4), hexagonal screw,
size M6 x 20 mm (2) and the nut, size M6.

Bend the holder for the metering pump so that
the outfeed side of the metering pump rises
through an angle of 10 – 15°.
Secure the perforated strap for the fuel metering
pump with the new hexagonal self-tapping screw
(6), size ST6.3 x 22, supplied with the kit. Secure
the fuel line (1) and branch A9/A10 (2) to the fuel
lines using cable ties (3). Cut the fuel line (1) to
length using a sharp knife and connect it to the
connectors on the fuel metering pump using
sections of hose (4) and hose clips (5).
Connect the branch (2) from the auxiliary heating
system wiring harness to the fuel metering pump.

If all the fuel line holders are occupied, the fuel
line (1) must be secured using cable ties (2).
Lay the fuel line (1) through the fuel line holders
along the main fuel line to the right-hand tank
fittings below the rear seat bench.

Remove the covers (1) on both sides under the
rear seat bench.

Cut the fuel supply (1) with a sharp knife at the
point shown.

Cut off the top section of the fuel port (1) on the
right-hand tank fitting with a sharp knife.

Lay the fuel line (1) to the right tank fitting (2).
Connect the fuel supply (3) to the fuel port using a
hose clip (4).
Connect the fuel line (1) to the fuel supply (3) with a
hose clip (6).
Secure the fuel supply (3) to the tank fitting (2) with
a cable tie (5).
