It is only possible to work safely with
this product if you read these operating
instructions and the safety instructions
in their entirety and strictly follow the
information given.
• For your own safety wear safety glasses or
goggles (enclosed on the sides) and safety
gloves.
• Pay attention to the information and the instruc-
tions on work procedures provided by the
vehicle manufacturer on the replacement of
vehicle windscreens.
• Before any use, check that all parts are in
working order, especially the suction plates
and their sealing surfaces, vacuum pumps and
the ratchet mechanism.
• Continually monitor the ring markings of the
vacuum pumps. Only if an adequate vacuum
exists is the windscreen removal device held
securely against the screen.

• If possible where windscreens have large
cracks, try not to place the suction plates on a
crack. The vacuum can leak away on cracks so
that the device falls off.
• If nevertheless the device does indeed come
loose from the windscreen, protect yourself and
the vehicle though appropriate preventive
actions, see preparation for work.
• Generally the cutting wire is under very high
tension. Always expect and be prepared for
the sudden snapping of the cutting wire and
use it only once.
• Only use original spare parts and Würth
cutting wire.
• Do not make any design changes to the indi-
vidual parts.
