4° Checking manoeuvre direction, force adjustment and slowing down when approaching
WE REPEAT: If the gate opens to the left reverse V and W and LSO with LSC.
Note: In this phase the gate moves only by constantly pressing the PROG button and is the step-by-step type which means that each time the
PROG button is pressed we have an open-stop-close-stop-open ... manoeuvre.
To confirm that the configuration is good check the LEDs as described below.
a) Set the microswitches DIP 1-2-4-5-6-7-8-9-11-12-13-16-17-18 on OFF and DIP 3-10-14-15 on ON.
b) Set DIP 1 on ON (the DL1 LED flashes quickly)
c) Set the "TORQUE" force adjustment trimmer on minimum
d) Press and hold the PROG button (the green DL6 LED turns on and the gate opens)
e) Gradually increase "TORQUE" force only if necessary (WARNING: too much force can be dangerous for the users)
f) After 10 seconds the motor slows to a speed that is adjusted with the "LOW SPEED" trimmer.
g) At the end of opening, the limit switch is pressed by the cam and stops the motor (the DL3 and DL6 LEDs turn off).
h) Release the PROG button.
i) Press and hold the PROG button again (the red DL7 LED turns on and the gate starts closing)
j) After 10 seconds the motor slows down. The limit switch stops the motor when the gate is completely closed (DL4 and DL7 turn off)
k) Release the PROG button and press PROG again to open the gate slightly and free the end-of-closing limit switch.
l) Put DIP 1 back on OFF and go to step 5.
5 - Programming the working and waiting times before having automatic closing.
IMPORTANT: Jumper between COM-PHOT, COM-EDGE and COM-STOP if the safety devices are not installed. LEDs DL2, DL3, DL4, DL5 and DL8
must be on.
If a LED is off it indicates a safety device failure or no connection and gate movement is blocked.
a) Set DIP 2 on ON (the DL1 LED flashes slowly)
b) Press the PROG button briefly (the gate closes, it stops when it comes up against the stop, it waits 2 seconds and then opens automatically,
stopping against the end-of-opening limit switch). Once the gate has completed the opening manoeuvre the control panel starts counting the waiting time before the gate starts closing
automatically.
Note: Even if the automatic closing function is not active (DIP 3 OFF), it must still be memorized.
c) Wait for the length of time wanted and then press the PROG to store the waiting time and start the gate closing.
d) The gate is closed. DL1 stops flashing. The times are stored. Put DIP 2 back on OFF.
6 - PHASE Programming the remote control
1 - Put DIP 1 on ON and then DIP 2 of SW1 on ON => the DL1 LED flashes for 10 seconds.
2 - Press the key on the remote (normally channel A) within 10 seconds. If the code is stored correctly the green DL10 LED flashes once.
3 - Code programming time is renewed automatically so the next remote control can be stored.
4 - To end programming wait 10 seconds or press the PROG button briefly => the DL1 LED stops flashing.
5 - Put DIP 1 and DIP 2 back on OFF.
