Calibrating the high-pres-
sure rail
i
Calibration of the high pressure rail is only re-
quired if CRI/CRIN 848H is operated with CRS 845
(1 687 001 845). For the test set CRS 845H
(1 687 002 845) or EPS 708, the high pressure rail is
already calibrated during commissioning. Additional
calibration is thus not required.
i
For calibration of the high pressure rail, the pressure
sensor 1 681 032 095 is required.
.1
Clamping the high-pressure pump
i
The following additional clamping parts are re-
quired for adaptation of the high-pressure pump
to the flywheel of the EPS: Intermediate flange
1 685 700 140, drive coupling 1 686 401 024,
protective cover 1 685 510 148, protective ring
1 685 510 176.
1. Mount intermediate flange 1 685 700 140 (Pos. 4)
and drive coupling 1 686 401 024 (Pos. 3) to EPS fly-
wheel.
2. Slide protective cover 1 685 510 148 (Pos. 6) onto
clamping bracket and fasten using clamping screw
onto EPS clamping bracket.
3. Slide protective ring 1 685 510 176 (Pos. 5) all way
up to protective cover (Pos. 6).
4. Slide high-pressure pump (Pos. 1) onto clamping
bracket and attach to drive coupling (Pos. 3).
5. Fasten high-pressure pump using two clamping
screws (Pos. 2) to clamping bracket.

ydraulically connecting the high-
pressure pump
i
The high-pressure hose for connecting the high-
pressure pump to the high-pressure rail is part of the
CRS 845H test set delivery specification.
!
Note tightening torque.
1. Connect the supply hose (Pos. 1) to the high-pres-
sure rail.
2. Connect the return hose (Pos. 2) to the high-pres-
sure rail.
