AIR LOSSES FROM THE VALVE UNDER THE PRESSURE SWITCH
This issue is caused by faulty sealing of the non-return valve,
please proceed as follows (fig. 23):
- Completely discharge the pressure from the tank.
- Unscrew the hexagonal head of the valve (A).
- Carefully clean the rubber plate (B), the relative compartment.
-
AIR LOSS
They may be caused by a defective seal on a joint. Check all joints by soaking them in soapy water.

Problem solving
Coaxial compressors (fig. 24):
- This may be due to a broken valve (C1 - C2) or a gasket (B1 - B2); replace the
damaged part.
Belt drive compressors (fig. 25):
- This may be due to a broken valve (F1 - F2) or a gasket (D1 - D2). Replace the
damaged part.
- Make sure that there is not too much condensate water in the tank.
THE COMPRESSOR DOES NOT START
If the compressor has difficulty starting up, check:
- That the main voltage corresponds to the nominal characteristics (fig. 12).
- Do not use cable extensions of unsuitable cross-section or length.
- That the working environment is not too cold (less than 0 ºC).
- In the case of the AB series, that the thermal cut-off has not intervened (fig. 15).
- That there is oil in the crankcase to ensure lubrication (fig. 10).
- That the electrical network has not been cut (well-connected socket, motor protection
switch, fully operative fuses).
THE COMPRESSOR DOES NOT STOP
- If the compressor does not stop when maximum pressure is reached, the safety
valve in the tank will be activated. It is necessary to contact the nearest authorized
service center for repair.
BE CAREFUL!
- Absolutely avoid unscrewing any connection to the tank under pressure; always
make sure that the tank is unloaded.
- It is forbidden to intentionally drill holes, weld or deform the compressed-air tank.
- Do not operate the compressor without first disconnecting the plug from the socket.
- Ambient operating temperature is 0 °C +35 °C.
- Do not direct water jets or flammable liquids towards the compressor.
- Do not place flammable objects near the compressor.
- During stops, turn the pressure switch to position "0" (OFF).
