6. Setting at work

Preliminary operations
Check that the coffee beans receptacle (2) is correctly posi-
tioned on the grinder-doser. Lift the lid (1) and fill with coffee
beans. Check that the gate (3) is open, by pushing it inward.
Switching on – general instructions
"Ensure that the mains switch is on before switching
on the appliance."
Turn switch (11) to position "1" to switch on the machine and
check that the indicator light "ON" (10) is lit.
When the measure grinder
turns on the main screen is
displayed:
The machine is ready for use.
The letter below on the left indicates the set operation
M: "Manual";
P: "Pre-selection".
At the end of the working day, switch off the appliance by
turning the general switch (11) to "0". The indicator light (10)
switches off.

7. Regulating the grind

The machine may be adjusted for different grindings (from fine
to course) via a screw (4) as shown on the graded indicator
(18).
If the flow of the coffee from the machine is very slow, this
indicates that the coffee is too finely ground. It will therefore
be necessary to turn the screw (4) anti-clockwise to obtain a
coarser grind.
If the flow of the coffee from the machine is very fast, this
indicates that the coffee is too coarsely ground. It will therefore
be necessary to turn the screw (4) clockwise to obtain a finer
ground.
