BARBECUE OPTION
Insert the Grill cooking plates then open the cooking surface to
the flat position by pulling he button located on the right of the
handle .Select the
left . Select the desired cooking temperature using the left knob . The
red indicator light will go on when the unit has reached the selected
temperature . Place the food evenly on the plates .
• COMBINED OPTION
Insert one Griddle cooking plate and one Grill cooking plate then
open the cooking surface to the flat position by pulling the button
located on the right of the handle . Select the
the middle knob to the left . Select the desired cooking temperature
using the left knob . The red indicator light will go on when the unit
has reached the selected temperature . Place the food evenly on the
plates .
• WAFFLE FUNCTION (GR42E)
Position the Waffle cooking plates . Select mode
central button to the right . Select the desired cooking temperature
using the button on the right . When the appliance has reached
the desired temperature, the red indicator light stays on . Pour
the waffle batter onto the lower plate and then close the lid .

D. Drip tray
At the back of the appliance there is a slot for the drip tray.
• Slide the drip tray from right to left into this slot .
• Fats and juices from cooking the foods flow over the plates and
are collected in the drip tray .
• Empty the drip tray after the Griddler Pro has cooled completely .
• The drip tray can be washed in the dishwasher .
4 . RECIPE
Grandma Bocuse's waffles (GR42E)
For 12 waffles
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: about 3 minutes
• 250 g flour
• pinch of baking powder
• 10 g icing sugar
• pinch of salt
• 12 .5 cl milk
• 37 .5 cl 35% cream
• 4 egg yolks
• 150 g melted butter
• 6 cl rum
• 4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Mix the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar in a bowl .
Gradually thin the mixture by adding the milk, cream, egg yolks and
rum .
Add the melted butter and egg whites, beaten to very stiff peaks .
Plug in and switch on the device .
When the green light comes on, lightly grease the plates and pour
the batter over in a sufficient quantity .
Spread the batter evenly . Close the lid and lock the handle . Cook the
waffles until golden and then remove from the moulds .
Immediately sprinkle with icing sugar and serve warm .
Tip: the waffles can be served alone, sprinkled with icing sugar, or
