Installation Steps
Install Brake Light as shown. Route Brake Light Wire through Upper Element and one Post.
Post may have to be removed for brake light routing.

Note: This step only required on lighted wing
Remove trim panels from underside of trunk or hatch. Remove carpet or trunk mat to avoid damage.
Place T-Strips into mount holes and tape in place.

Place wing on closed trunk or hatch. Center using a tape measure. Tape T-Strips to trunk lid.
Remove wing leaving T-Strips taped to trunk.

Installation Steps
Drill 1/16" (1.5mm) holes on T-Strip through all layers of trunk lid. Remove T-Strips. Drill out holes to 5/16" (8mm)
diameter. If trunk lid has a double layer, drill 3/4" hole thru inner panel only. This will allow clearance for socket.

Position gasket on trunk in location where wiring exits wing. Using gasket as a template, mark location of hole
and drill 3/8" hole in trunk. Using a screwdriver, insert grommet into hole as shown.

Note: This step only required on lighted wing
Apply Gasket to bottom of wing and install as shown. Using Wire Splice, splice the red wire into the vehicle's
brake light wiring. Connect the black wire to a good ground in the trunk.
