• Upon demounting, if the tool cannot keep the tyre bead engaged to allow demounting to start, the tyre bead may still be
inserted on the
underside. Try using the bead brea¬ker disc in an upward direction both to break the tyre bead again and to help
maintain a grip on it (fig. 12b).
- Advice
To prevent any rim damage, the plastic insert under the head (fig. 13) must be replaced every 2 months orsooner, if
exces-sively worn. A spare insert is supplied with the machine.
