Run threaded rod
through
remote box and
secure with
¼-20 hex nut
Install remote box in ceiling by securing to threaded rod with ¼-20 hex nut. Make sure to align bottom of remote
box with structure.

Temporarily re-install Trim Cover.
Install fixture and cover to remote box by feeding aircraft cable
into grippers on remote box. Make sure to leave protective liner on
fixture.

Drop trim cover to allow access to electrical enclosure area.

Level fixture and ensure fixture is at final installed height.

Cut powered aircraft cable above gripper using tin snips leaving
approximately 2-3 inches of extra cable. Insulate cables using heat-
shrink tubing (provided) or electrical tape (not provided). Ensure
that cables do no contact any metal surfaces.
