Charging
• Check the electronic module for damage. You may only
connect undamaged electronic modules to the terminal
module.
• When you connect the electronic module for the first time
the coding element locks into place on the terminal
module. This prevents you connecting the wrong module.
This mechanical coding cannot be altered.
• Connecting and disconnecting the electronic module
during operation is permitted in Zones 1 and 2. The
housing (Ex e / IP 54) containing the ET 200iSP may only
be opened for a short period of time while doing this (see
Operating Instructions ET 200iSP).
• When configuring the ET 200iSP, observe the maximum
permissible number of electronic modules (see Operating
Instructions ET 200iSP, Chapter 3.6)
Commissioning
• Observe the national regulations when commissioning.
• Observe the guidelines as per EN 60 079-17 when
carrying out functional checks. International standard
regulation in accordance with IEC 60 079-17 are
incorporated in this standard.
