HOW TO UNPACK THE APPLIANCE

The procedure for removing the device from its packaging is the following:
1. Open the outer box.
2. Remove the accessories from the box and carefully lay them on the ground.
3. Take out the vacuum head carton.
4. Remove the appliance from the box using the handle, being careful not to damage either during
the operation.
5. Take out the appliance from the protective bag using the relative handle, taking care not to damage
either.
N.B.: it is recommended that all the packaging components be kept for any future transportation
of the appliance.
CAUTION: users are advised to always wear protective gloves, to avoid the risk of serious injury
to hands.

HOW TO TRANSPORT THE APPLIANCE

The procedure for the safe handling of the device is the following:
1. Take all necessary steps to ensure that the device is in a safe condition (see
2. Remove the vacuum hose (1) from the vacuum nozzle (2) on the collection tank, before pulling the
vacuum hose press the button (3) for unlocking the catch ( Fig.1).
3. Insert the appliance into the protective bag, taking care not to damage either during this operation.
4. Insert the appliance into the carton, taking care not to damage either during this operation.
Remember to place at the bottom of the carton the block for the wheels of the appliance, position
around the collection tank the blocks for preventing damage during transportation.
5. Insert the accessories support and the head block inside the carton.
6. Place the accessories in the carton.
7. Close the carton.
N.B.: For transportation in vehicles, secure the device according to the regulations in force so
that it can not slide or tip over.
CAUTION: users are advised to always wear protective gloves, to avoid the risk of serious injury
to hands.

APPLIANCE SAFETY

The stages for making the appliance safe, thereby making it possible to carry out operations safely,
are as follows:
1. Check that both general switches (1) are disabled, if not set them to "0" (Fig.1).
2. Make sure that the plug (2) on the power cable (3) has been taken out of the mains supply socket
(4), and if not, disconnect it (Fig.2).
3. Wind the power cable under the appliance's lifting handle.
CAUTION: We recommend handling the power cable with dry hands to avoid serious injury.
CAUTION: To prevent damaging the power cable, disconnect the plug from the mains socket by
directly pulling the plug and not the cable.

PREPARING TO WORK

INSERTING THE COLLECTION BAG-FILTER (OPTIONAL)

To insert the filter – collection bag inside the collection tank, proceed as follows:
1. Take all necessary steps to ensure that the device is in a safe condition (see
2. Remove the vacuum head (1) using the handle (2) on it (Fig.2), before removing the head loosen
the locking hooks (3) on the side of the collection tank (4) (Fig.1).
3. Rest the vacuum head gently on the floor.
4. Insert the filter - paper collection bag inside the collection tank, taking care to insert the filter
correctly into the vacuum nozzle (5) inside the collection tank and making sure not to damage the
cardboard support (6) in the bag itself (Fig.3).
5. Refit the vacuum head (1) above the collection tank (4), remembering to fix it to the tank using the
locking hooks (3).
N.B.: If you are using the collection bag filter the permanent fabric filter needs to be removed.

To insert the cartridge filter in the bottom of the vacuum head, do as follows:
1. Take all necessary steps to ensure that the device is in a safe condition (see
2. Remove the vacuum head (1) using the handle (2) on it (Fig.2), before removing the head loosen
the locking hooks (3) on the side of the collection tank (4) (Fig.1).
3. Rest the vacuum head gently on the floor.
4. If present, remove the optional foam filter (5) at the bottom of the vacuum head (Fig.3).
5. Insert the cartridge filter (6) above the floating support (7) (Fig.4).
6. Refit the vacuum head (1) above the collection tank (4), remembering to fix it to the tank using the
locking hooks (3).
N.B.: If you use the cartridge filter (6) the permanent cloth filter must be removed.

To insert the cartridge filter in the bottom of the vacuum head, do as follows:
1. Take all necessary steps to ensure that the device is in a safe condition (see

the locking hooks (3) on the side of the collection tank (4) (Fig.1).
3. Rest the vacuum head gently on the floor.
4. Insert the nylon filter bag (5) in the collection tank. To fix it in place, have it adhere to the edge of
the tank opening ( Fig.3).
5. Refit the vacuum head (1) above the collection tank (4), remembering to fix it to the tank using the
locking hooks (3).
N.B.: If you are using the nylon filter bag the permanent cloth bag must be removed.

Before beginning to work, it is necessary to:
1. Check that both general switches (1) are disabled, if not set them to "0" (Fig.1).

WARNING: To prevent damaging the power cable, disconnect the plug from the mains socket

3. Remove the vacuum head (5) using the handle on it, before removing the head loosen the locking
catches (7) on the side of the collection tank (6) (Fig.3).
4. Make sure that the cloth filter (8) is correctly positioned (Fig.4).

N.B. : For dry use, we recommend that you check that the inside of the collection tank has
been drained of all liquids before use.
N.B: If cartridge filters or dust collection bags are used instead of the cloth filter, make sure
they are positioned correctly.
5. Put back the vacuum head (5) on top of the collection tank (6),
remembering to secure it with the hook catches (7).
6. Before using, the appliance must be in order and safe to use with the
work equipment, especially the power cable and the extension cable.
If everything is not in order, the appliance must not be used.
