Return the latch assembly to the previous
position by sliding the latch down with the
dovetail on the brackets engaging the channel
on the back of the latch assembly (Fig. 6).
7.
Once the latch assembly is all the way down
gently apply a little downward pressure while
tightening the adjustment screw. Tighten until
the bracket and the latch bottom are flush
(Fig. 7 and Fig. 8).
8.
Position striker assembly on gate upright and
align the vertical alignment marks (Fig. 9).
9.
Using a pencil make a small mark on the
gate upright just above the striker assembly
(Fig. 10).
10.
Release the striker assembly from the latch
assembly by lifting on the latch release cap
(Fig. 11).
11.
Open gate and reposition striker assembly on
gate upright where you previously marked and
install the (2) #10x1 screws (Fig. 12).
