• This appliance should only be connected to the AC mains with the voltage given on type sign on the appliance. The type and ID plate is found
on the control unit of the device.
• This device is for home use only.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• The appliance is not to be used by young children unless the controls have been pre-set by a parent or guardian, or unless the child has been
adequately instructed on how to operate the controls safely.

• Do not activate the controller with wet hands
• Never pull the plug out of the socket from the cable
• After use pull plug out off mains plug
• If the mains cable is damaged it must be replaced by an authorized repair centre to avoid a hazard
• The device may only be used with the controller listed in these instructions
• Do not place the controller under pillow or covers while it is plugged in or turned on
• It is recommended that people with pacemakers not use this device all night long
• Do not use on adjustable beds until one is assured that covers or cables are not pinched or trapped
• do not use if bent or folded and do not fold blanket if still warm
• It is however not intended to treat medical conditions
• do not use if wet or damp
• do not use on pets
• Do not prick in with needles or other sharp objects
• Examine the appliance frequently. If there is any damage visible If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a
qualifi ed person, to avoid a hazard.
3 | Start-up
1. PLACEMENT OF CARBONCONTAINING HEATING LID (pict. 1)
CAUTION!
Place the heating blanket only between mattress and
bedsheet, not in direct contact with persons.
• Insure that the heating blanket is the proper size for the mattress
and is smoothly streched
• Place the heating blanket (1) with the cable pointing toward the
head (3) of the mattress (2)
• Place the rubber bands (4) of the heating blanket around the
mattress beginning with the foot end and ending with the head
• Do not place the heating blanket under the pillow
• Insure that the heating blanket is smoothly streched and has no
wrinkles. At this time carefully place the fi rst bedsheet over the
heating blanket and make the bed as usual
As described above, the heating blanket must be comple-
tely covered in order to properly distrbute the warmth
2. USE OF CARBONCONTAINING HEATING LID (pict. 2)
CAUTION!
The heating blanket may only be used with the electronic controller (Modell C 101 ANALOG) that it was delivered with.
