Assembly for TRIUMPH SPEED TRIPLE 1050 2008
ATTENTION :
Before proceeding you must be sure that the motorbike is turned off, in
neutral gear, on a stable position and that no part has any high temperature.
To assembly it must be a specialized technician. Lightech srl will not be
responsible to any damages caused by a wrong assembly.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Remove the saddle and the original number plate support (do not
remove the coloured part under the seat).
2. Disconnect the indicators, light for number plate and rear light
alimentation cables.
3. Remove the rear light.
4. Raise the closing of the saddle and remove the support fixed to it;
place the closing of the saddle again using the original screws and the
11x3,5 spacers (A).
5. Put the number plate/rear light supports in the part under the tail (F1),
insert (F2) and rotate (F3).
6. Put the rear light cover and the rear light (G) on the number plate/rear
light supports using the screws of the rear light (H).
7. Apply the part under the seat given, fixing the number plate/rear light
supports to the frame with the 4 screws M8x20 (B) and the 2 screws
M6x30, the 11x12 spacers and the M6 self locking nut (C).
8. Put the 20x10 spacers in between the forepart of the part under the tail
and the plastic (D) using the original screws; inside the saddle place
the large washers and the original nuts.
9. Fix the number plate/rear light supports to the part under the tail with
the M4x10 (E) and the M4 self locking nut.
10. Connect the alimentation cables of the indicators.
11. Put and fix the two clamps of the number plate making attention at the
angles on the attached diagram.
12. Connect all the alimentation cables.
Attention: Before riding with the number plate assembled, check
carefully the correct tightening of each screw and nut.
