rest of the vehicle seat (Fig. 8) to make sure
it is securely in place.
6. Check that the two connectors are fastened
correctly by trying to pull the base multiple
times.
7. Position the support leg (G) and adjust it
using the adjustment button (H) (Fig. 9).
When the support leg is installed correctly,
the acoustic signal will stop and at the same
time, the indicator (I) will turn green (Fig. 10).
REMOVAL
1. Press the support leg adjustment button (H)
and shorten it to the end stop.
2. Lift the ISOFIX connector extraction lever (B)
and move the base away from the backrest
to the end stop.
3. Release the ISOFIX connectors by pushing
the release buttons (D) (Fig. 11).
4. Hold down the ISOFIX connector extrac-
tion lever (B), push the ISOFIX base into the
base, making sure to reach the end stop.
Turn the support leg and fasten the feet in
the provided slot, deactivating the acoustic
signal.
2.2 INSTALLATION OF THE OASYS I-SIZE
CHILD CAR SEAT ON THE I-SIZE BASE
Before fastening the child car seat on the i-Size
base, make sure that the 4 hooks are open cor-
rectly; to check this, simply press the two Y le-
vers located to the sides of the base (Fig. 12A).
1. Fasten the child car seat on the i-Size base
(rear facing) and push it towards the low
leg side until you hear it click into place
(Fig. 12).
2. The fastening of the child car seat will be
shown by the indicator (F) that turns green
when fastening is complete (Fig. 13).
3. Check that the child car seat is correctly fit-
ted on the base by lifting the front and rear
sections.
4. After the connection is made, turn the child
car seat handle until it reaches the stop po-
sition (A) against the backrest of the seat
(Fig. 14).
To release the child car seat from the base: re-
turn the handle to the vertical position (B) and
release the child car seat by pulling the relative
handle while lifting the child car seat using the
grip (Fig. 15).
2.3 INSTALLATION OF THE OASYS I-SIZE
CHILD CAR SEAT WITH THE CAR'S
3-POINT SEAT BELTS
To install the child car seat without the base, pro-
ceed as follows:
1. Position the child car seat on the selected
vehicle seat rear facing.
2. Pull the vehicle safety harness and fasten it
to the relevant buckle, inserting the hori-
zontal (waist) part of the belt through the
child car seat's two blue slots (S) (Fig. 16).
3. Take the diagonal car safety belt and thread
it through the relevant blue slot (V) on the
back of the child car seat's backrest (Fig. 17)
WARNING! When travelling by car, this diag-
onal safety belt must ALWAYS be threaded
through this slot.
4. Pull the belt as tightly as possible without
leaving any slack and making sure it is not
twisted.
5. Turn the carry handle to position A1 (Fig. 18).
To remove the child car seat:
1. Release the car safety belt by pressing the
buckle.
2. Bring the carry handle into the position B
(vertical).
3. Unthread the belt through the diagonal and
horizontal slots.
3. ADDITIONAL OPERATIONS
3.1 PLACING THE CHILD IN THE CHILD
CAR SEAT AND ADJUSTING THE SAFETY
HARNESS
To adjust the harness straps, proceed as fol-
lows:
1. Press the adjustment button and pull the
child car seat harness straps to loosen them
(Fig. 19).
2. Press the red button (Fig. 20) to open the
buckle.
3. Place the baby on the seat.
WARNING! The harness straps must always
be adjusted to adapt to the child's growth
phase. Before installing the child car seat in-
side the vehicle, adjust the harness straps to
the right height. To adjust them correctly, the
