Warning!
Check the state of the power cable of your appliance on a regular basis before using it, and if it is damaged, take it
to the service centre closest to you to have it replaced only by specialised personnel.
Do not use abrasive products for cleaning the appliance.
Do not put vinegar, decalcifying agents or other fragrant substance inside the tank; otherwise, the warranty may
be revoked.

Clean plastic parts with a damp, non-abrasive cloth and dry them with a dry cloth.
Clean the water tank from time to time by putting fresh water in it. Rinse and empty.
For cleaning washable cloths, refer to indications on labels.
Filter replacement
The filter (H) must be replaced every 4-6 months or after 100 cleaning cycles (one cycle is equivalent to the consumption of
a full tank of water). Unplug it from the socket-outlet. Wait for the hot parts to cool down. Remove the tank. Extract the filter
(H) by pulling it upwards, parallel to the motor body. Replace the filter with a new one, being sure to put it firmly in its seat
(Fig. 13).

A good maintenance and regular cleaning preserve and maintain the appliance efficient for a longer period greatly reducing
the risk of scale formation. If despite this, after some time, the appliance function should be compromised, due to constant
use of hard and very hard water, it is possible to carry out a descaling operation to eliminate the malfunction.
Perform the cleaning once every three months. If very hard water is used clean every month.

Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
Carry out the scale cleaning operation in a ventilated room. When cleaning the limescale, apply steam to a resistant
surface or on a washable cloth. Do not breathe the vapours produced during the descaling cleaning.
1 Fill the tank with a mixture of 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 of fresh, clean water.
2 Pour the mixture in the tank.
3 Place the appliance so that the steam is not dispensed on any object or surface.
4 Plug into the mains socket. Turn the steam control knob (F). Leave the appliance into operation for at least one minute.
Turn the steam control knob (F) on MIN. Leave off the appliance for a minute. Repeat until the release of steam is noticed.
Let the all the steam come out until there is no more solution in the tank. If necessary, repeat the operation.
5 Unplug it from the electric outlet. Fill the tank with fresh, clean water. Rinse and empty.
6 Fill the water tank with 500 ml of fresh cool water (Fig 8).
7 Plug into the mains socket. Let the all the steam come out until there is no more water in the tank. If necessary, repeat
the operation until the appliance releases clean steam: it is possible to check the cleanliness passing the steam head
on a dry cloth.
To remove traces of limestone from the accessories, dip them in a solution of water and vinegar. Fit the accessory on the
appliance and dispense steam.
