off). Devices which cannot be switched on and off
using the ON/OFF switch are hazardous, should not
be operated and must be repaired.
b)
Disconnect the device from the power supply
before commencement of adjustment, cleaning and
maintenance. Such a preventive measure reduces the
risk of accidental activation.
c)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device who
EN
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.
d)
Keep the device in perfect technical condition. Before
each use check for general damage and especially
check for cracked parts or elements and for any other
conditions which may impact the safe operation of
the device. If damage is discovered, hand over the
device for repair before use.
e)
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
f)
Device repair or maintenance should be carried out by
qualified persons, only using original spare parts. This

the device in order to change its parameters or
construction.
m)
Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protective features, and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a slight risk of accident or injury when using the
device. Stay alert and use common sense when using
the device.
3. USE GUIDELINES
The device is used to melt gold, silver and copper.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
unintended use of the device.

3.1. DEVICE DESCRIPTION

ATTENTION! This product's view can be found on the
last pages of the operating instructions (pp. 35).
3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
APPLIANCE LOCATION
The temperature of environment must not be higher than
50°C and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.
Ensure good ventilation in the room in which the device
is being used. The device should always be used when
positioned on an even, stable, clean, fireproof and dry
surface, and be out of the reach of children and persons with
limited mental and sensory functions. Position the device
such that you always have access to the power plug. The
power cord connected to the appliance must be properly
grounded and correspond to the technical details on the
product label.
3.3. DEVICE USE
3.3.1. FUNCTIONING
The device control is provided by the PID module. This
module regularly measures the temperature, compares it
with the user-specified value and gives the command to

heat or stop heating. This cycle repeats itself at two-second
intervals, which ensures the device's precision.
3.3.2. HOW TO USE
1)
Fill the crucible with the desired metal.
2)
Insert the plug into the socket.
3)
Press the button to ON.
4)
Select the desired temperature as follows:
press SET, the SV (selected value) will flash;
use the "<" button to select the next digit of the
SV;
set each desired digit with the "^" and "v"
buttons;
confirm the set number with the SET button.
NOTE: If the set number is not confirmed within 30
seconds, the device will automatically return to the
initial value.
5)
The device starts heating; the "OUT" LED lights up and
stays on until the desired temperature is reached.
6)
After
reaching
the
desired
temperature,
device stops heating and the "OUT" LED flashes to
indicate that the device is maintaining the desired
temperature.
7)
After all the metal is melted, remove the crucible from
the melting chamber with pliers and carefully pour the
contents into the selected mould.
8)
Put the crucible back into the melting chamber, switch
off the device with the ON / OFF button and pull the
plug out of the socket.
NOTE: The PID module allows you to make a number
of additional precise settings but these functions are
blocked by default. Therefore, the AL and AT diodes
should be inactive. If one of these LEDs lights up, it
indicates a fault. For further safe use of the device,
please visit the service.
3.3.3. ADDITIONAL USAGE TIPS
Do not place the device on a flammable surface or
near flammable materials.
Before starting work, check all containers for water.
Do not let liquid metal to come into contact with
water.
The graphite crucible attached to the device only
melts gold, silver and copper! To melt metals such
as aluminium, lead, brass and bronze, you must
purchase a suitable crucible. Also make sure that the
metal does not produce vapours during melting, that
would prevent the use of the device or pose a danger
to the user.

Remember not to overfill the crucible. The device
may not create sufficient temperature to melt all of
the material and excessive crucible wear may occur.
Overpressure can also be created which endangers
the user.
The crucible is an operating element and can be used
up to 30 times in the gold/silver melting process. For
safety reasons it is advised to use the crucible only 15
times, because with each melting process the crucible
becomes thinner and thinner. Failure to do so may
result in risk to life and limb!
Check the condition of the crucible before each work.
Using a damaged crucible can damage the ceramic
chamber.
To ensure long life and good operation of the device,
it should be used continuously for a maximum of 2
hours. There should be a half hour interval between
one use and the next.
The maximum working temperature is 1150 ° C and
will be reached in 40 minutes.
The recycled gold or silver contains acids or alkalis
the
that can lead to corrosion of the heating element. If
you want to melt this type of metal, open the melting
furnace lid at regular intervals to allow the evaporation
of corrosive substances. This should take place under
appropriate ventilation or exhaust conditions.
3.3.4. HOW TO EXCHANGE THE HEATING COIL
NOTE: Opening the device without consulting the
manufacturer's service may void your warranty!
1.
Check the function of the heating coil
1. First open the bottom
of the furnace.
2. Check the resistance
of the heating coil
like this:
If 110V, the resistance
is about 8Ω
If 220V, the resistance
is about 30Ω
If the resistance is
infinite, that means the
heating coil is broken,
then you need to
change a heating coil.
