6. Slide I-beam flange beneath the clamps bolted
to the I-beam mounting bracket. Tighten bolts
with 13/16" wrench. Repeat on the other end of the
I-beam. (See Figure 6)

NOTE: Before lifting the gantry crane, make
sure all bolts and clamps are fully tightened.
NOTE: Lock the swivel casters before lifting the
gantry crane.
NOTE: Two man lift recommended if lifting
manually.
NOTE: To lift the gantry crane with a forklift,
slide forks under I-beam and slowly raise the
forks while slowly driving forward until the crane
is upright and stable.
WARNING: Do not lift the gantry crane until all
people are safely out of the way.
