How to proceed:
 B
1. Remov e the f ilter cov er.
2. Remov e the parts in the f ilter container.
 A
• Set the desired f low rate at the f ilter pump.
– To increase the f low rate: Turn the f low regulator in the + direction.
– To decrease the f low rate: Turn the f low regulator in the – direction.
 C
1. Position the f ilter pump at the centre of the f ilter container.
2. Arrange the bio surf ace elements.
– Arrange eight bio surf ace elements upstream of the f ilter pump and two downstream of the f ilter pump.
3. Screw the adapter onto the pump outlet and connect the nozzle pipe with the adapter.
4. Guide the mains cable through the groov e into the f ilter container and f asten the cable sleev e in the groov e.
 D
1. Insert the opening of the f ine f ilter f oam (30 ppi), then the coarse f ilter f oam (10 ppi) onto the nozzle pipe.
2. Position the opening of the f ilter lid on the nozzle pipe and push it onto the f ilter container, so that the f ilter lid locks
in place.
 E
1. Insert a branch v alv e or connecting piece.
– The branch v alv e has an additional hose connection f or a water spout or riv er.
2. If applicable, connect a hose f or a water spout or riv er to the branch v alv e and adjust the f low rate on the branch
v alv e.
– To increase the f low rate: Turn the f low regulator in the + direction.
– To decrease the f low rate: Turn the f low regulator in the – direction.
3. Attach the second nozzle pipe.
4. Attach the nozzle on the nozzle pipe.
Installation
Adhere to the f ollowing conditions f or dry installation:
 F
• Ensure that the connection to the power supply is at least 2 m f rom the pond.
• Only install the unit below water lev el.
• Position the dev ice in such a way that the nozzle insert is located abov e the water lev el.
• Set up the dev ice horizontally on a f irm, mud-f ree surf ace.
Com missioning/start-up
N O T E
The unit will be destroy ed if it is operated with a dimmer. It contains sensitiv e electrical components.
• Do not connect the unit to a dimmable power supply .
Switching on: Connect the unit to the mains. The unit switches on immediately .
Switching off: Disconnect the unit f rom the mains.

Flow regulator excessively throttled
Impeller blocked
Strainer casing clogged
Foam filter soiled
Water temperature too high
Remedy
Check the mains voltage.
Set flow regulator
Clean impeller
Clean strainer casing
Cleaning the foam filter
Note maximum water temperature of +35°C
