SPECIAL SERVICE FUNCTIONS
These functions are active when the water heater is connected to the electrical supply (at
230V) and include functions that help the user:
a. Anti-frost
If the temperature of the water in the heater drops below +10°C, the burner will ignite for a
short time to avoid the formation of ice that would otherwise damage the tank.
b. Transmitted current anode
The controller generates an anodic micro- current inside the tank to protect it against corro-
sion. If this function is not active the appliance does not shut down, but reports the fault by
turning the red "
c. Heat sanitation cycle
This cycle safeguards the health of the users by preventing the growth of Legionella bacteria
inside the water heater. The cycle runs the fi rst time the appliance is switched on and every
30 days thereafter, and consists in keeping the water temperature above 60° C for 1 hour.
When the cycle is running, the red "IIII" led fl ashes.
d. Boiler
To activate this function, hold the "on/off " button down for four seconds (green "on" led
flashing). The function allows you to heat the water up one time. When the system reaches
the temperature setpoint, it returns to standby.
e. Diagnosis function (reference to the diagnosis table)
f. Programmable thermostat input.
The appliance allows connecting a daily or weekly programmable thermostat, which has to
be connected on the electrical terminal block in correspondence of the hour "
