COMMISSIONING

Following installation, conversion to a different type of gas
or any maintenance operations, check appliance ope-
ration. In the event of any malfunction, consult the next
paragraph"Troubleshooting".
Switch on the appliance as directed in the instructions and re-
minders for use given in Chapter " INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
" and check:
• the current values of each phase.
• the correct operation of the heating elements.

13 TROUBLESHOOTING

The appliance does not heat.
Possible causes:
• Temperature thermostat defective.
• Heating elements defective.
• Safety thermostat tripped.
Heating cannot be adjusted
Possible causes:
• Temperature thermostat defective.

FAULT SIGNALLING

• Power failure
After an interruption in the power supply during execution of a
cycle, the control board signals the power failure by flashing
the PF icon. The cycle in progress re-starts from the beginning.
If a power failure occurs when the control board is on stand-by,
this will not be signalled and the control board will switch back
to stand-by.
• Safety thermostat
If the safety thermostat is tripped, an orange LED will flash and
heating will be deactivated. The services of a specialised tech-
nician are required to reset the thermostat.
• Oven chamber probe
If this probe malfunctions, the label AL1 will be displayed. Hea-
ting will be deactivated and the buzzer will sound intermittently
(three seconds of beeping followed by a ten second pause).
Pressing any key will silence the buzzer. The alarm will cease
when the condition is eliminated.
• Needle probe
If this probe malfunctions, the label AL2 will be displayed. The
regeneration/holding cycle is stopped, if it was a temperatu-
re controlled cycle. The buzzer will sound intermittently (three
seconds of beeping followed by a ten second pause). If the
current cycle is time controlled, no alarm signal is generated.
Pressing any key will silence the buzzer. The alarm will cease
when the condition is eliminated.

14 REPLACING COMPONENTS

REMINDERS FOR REPLACING COMPONENTS.

• Disconnect the appliance electrical power supply, if present,
before proceeding with any operation.
• After replacing a gas system component, check for gas leaks
at connection points.
• After replacing an electrical system component, check it is
correctly wired.
• When replacing the radiant hotplates, handle and re-assem-
ble parts with the utmost care.

Working thermostat replacement
• Remove the control panel.
• Remove and replace the component.
• Re-assemble all parts. For assembly, proceed in reverse or-
der.
Safety thermostat replacement.
• Remove the rear panel of the appliance.
• Remove and replace the component.
• Re-assemble all parts. For assembly, proceed in reverse or-
der.

15 CLEANING THE INTERIOR

• Check the condition of the inside of the appliance.
• Remove any built-up dirt.
• Check and clean the fumes exhaust system.
