System Orientation
South facing of sensors is recommended where systems are installed in the Northern Hemisphere.
Similarly, North facing of sensors is recommended where systems are installed in the Southern
Hemisphere. Divergence of up to 45 ° is generally allowed (see local regulations).
System tilting: it must be set between a minimum of 20º and a maximum of
50º.
8.3 Assembly
For instructions regarding the mounting of support frames, refer to the OKSOL structures manual.
8.4 Hydraulic connections
Connections in the OKSOL system are the cold water inlet and outlet, that must comply with
the standard EN 806, or the specific guidelines in force in each country, and must be adequately
insulated. The inlet and outlet pipes should be assembled using fitting ends. Besides , the system
must have a drain line from the safety valve in the primary circuit.
8.4.1 Connecting sanitary water and drainage in the primary circuit
The Sanitary Cold Water inlet (DCW) and the Sanitary Hot Water outlet (DHW) will be connected to
the corresponding connections.
The drain port for the safety valve (PRV) in the primary circuit must be lead to a vessel out of reach
of children and/or animals (this valve is integrated within OKSOL itself), so that any damage may be
avoided in case of discharge of hot liquid or steam.
