14.1 Filling the primary circuit
The OKSOL unit is delivered with the primary circuit filled with heat transfer fluid to the appropriate
level, so no action is required for commissioning. However, if this circuit has to be filled/refilled for
maintenance or other reasons, follow the steps outlined below:
1. Connect a hose to the primary circuit filling valve (the valve that is connected to the circulating
pump).
2. Remove the level plug, and place a container or a hose underneath to collect the heat transfer
fluid as soon as it overflows.
*if a hose is used, ensure that it is not positioned above the level of the overflow point.
3. Open the filling valve and start pumping the heat transfer fluid, untill it flows out from the overflow
point.
4. Close the primary filling valve.
5. Allow the level to stabilize until the overflowing stops.
6. Assembly of the level plug.

Warning
Any operation on the primary circuit must be carried out by a qualified
technician, and only after checking that the equipment is cold.
The heat transfer fluid to be used must be "Solar Coolant -12" or equivalent
(propylene glycol content 25%)
