CAUTION
▪ Explosive Gases, avoid fire and sparks. During the charge, batteries should be placed in a well ventilated area.
▪ Examine your STARTPACK regularly, especially the cable, the envelope and the socket to detect any damage. If the
STARTPACK is damaged, it should not be used.
▪ Do not open the product. Any modification made by any person outside a technician of GYS will result in the cancela-
tion of the warranty, and responsibility of the GYS company.
▪ Protect the product against rain and humidity.
▪ Your charger should be connected to a socken with an earth connector.
▪ If the mains cable is damaged it must be repaired by the manufacturer, its after sales department or a person equally
qualified, in order to prevent any danger.
▪ Never use STARTPACK to recharge not-rechargeable batteries or small batteries (AA, mobile phones, etc.).
▪ The terminal of the battery not linked to the vehicle frame has to be connected first. The other connection should be
made afterwards, on the frame, and far away from any combustible pipes.
▪ The product should be placed for the main socket to be reachable.
▪ The product should not be used as a toy by children or handicapped persons without supervision.
▪ This product contains electronics. Do not dispose of in domestic waste.
▪ Do not short circuit the clamps during the charge and during its use.
▪ This device is equiped with a internal fuse (2A-250V) placed in the transformer which protect against failure and fire.
In case of breakdown, this fuse must be replaced by a qualified technician.
NO WARRANTY ON BATTERIES
Batteries are active elements, their life depends on maintenance. After each use of this starter, the internal batteries
must be charged. Stored in places with high temperatures can reduce the battery charge. In case of non-use, it is
strongly recommended to recharge the batteries before use. Generally, we recommend leaving the product permanently
plugged to maintain the batteries at their best level of performance. This product is equipped with 2 high performance
batteries which can be irreversibly damaged in case of non compliance of the maintenance rules.
For this reason the batteries of the Startpack are excluded from warranty

The voltage connector is not
plugged on the 12V socket.
Unplug the product from the main
and plug it again to start a new
charge. If the problem appears
again the batteries are damaged.
Charger is overheating because
the temperature is too high. The
charger will restart the charge
automatically as soon as the
temperature dropped down suf-
ficiently.
Normal process of the Startpack:
the charger detects the presence
of sulphated / deeply discharged
batteries. It will attempt to re-
cover the battery with a specific
charge of 16h.
Check the presence of 230V vol-
tage on the supply.
Replace the fuse.
Plug the voltazge connector on
the 12V socket.
