Motor Feedback Wiring
The Exp 24 Controller provides interface circuits for a resolver and a thermistor used for motor position
feedback and temperature monitoring. These are low voltage analog signals; therefore a quality
shielded cable must used. The cable should have 4 twisted pairs with individual foil shields with drain
wires as well as an overall braided shield. The drain wire for the individual pair shields should be
connected only on the EXP 24 end, no connection on Actuator end, while the overall braided shield
should be connected to the housings on both ends, ideally through the cable gland. The terminals will
accept wires ranging from 24 AWG to 12 AWG (0.08 – 2.5 mm
